About me
From organisational expert to guiding people
“The most beautiful breakthroughs happen when people discover who they truly are and what they really want.”
My name is Noor Oudshoorn - van Vreumingen. After studying hotel management and business administration, I spent nearly twenty years working as a project manager and Head of HR at various commercial and non-profit organisations.
Over those years, I developed a sharp eye for how organisations work, where processes get stuck and how teams function at their best. But what increasingly fascinated me were not the systems and structures — it was the people within and behind those organisations.
The turning point
During my HR career, I realised that the most valuable moments didn’t take place in boardrooms, but in one-on-one conversations. When employees could share their story, when conflicts were resolved by truly listening to each other, when someone finally understood what was really driving them.
That was what made my heart beat faster.
Coaching conversations, mediation sessions and personal guidance — that was what I wanted to do more of. Not just as part of my job, but as my true calling.
The step towards specialisation
To back up my intuition and experience with solid knowledge, I completed various qualifications as a mediator, coach, confidential adviser and holistic therapist. These programmes didn’t just give me new tools — they confirmed what I already felt: people have incredible potential within them; they just sometimes need help bringing it to the surface.
And so came the next logical step: Moxie Mediation — my own practice where I can fully focus on what gives me the most energy.
My working style
Interactive — We work together; I don’t talk at you
In-depth — We go beyond the surface to what is really going on
Practical — From insight to concrete action, always
Honest — I say what I see, even when it’s confronting
